It all began with Samahan Pop-Up Market, an event that redefined norms at
Ayala Malls Capitol Central, Bacolod City.
JULY 2022- In just one day, this pop-up brought together 57 merchants, spanning businesses, preloved sellers, and culinary artisans—a first of its kind in Bacolod. The turnout of 1,000+ attendees, translated into profits and significant brand exposure, earning praise for organization and marketing strategies. Merchants found not only a market but a supportive community that fueled their success.
AUGUST 2023 - Taking it up a notch, in the following year was our second bazaar wherein we found a bigger venue to host over 61 local merchants. Beyond the usual shopping spree, this event featured both onsite and online voucher giveaways and a range of interactive activities for our shoppers, drawing in 1,800 attendees over two days.
And the excitement continues this December 15-16 for our Holiday Bazaar, promising festive treats and surprises for both our cherished merchants and guests.
SHOP SAMAHAN
With the success of our first pop-up, recognition came from Alagang Ayaland, a program initiated by Ayala Malls, aiming to fortify small businesses by providing them with an opportunity for heightened visibility without the burden of exorbitant expenses.
Through our efforts, Shop Samahan accepted an offer into a pop-up store on the first floor of Ayala Malls Capitol Center, a move that was initially planned for three months but resonated so strongly with the community that negotiations extended our stay to four months.
Shop Samahan became the first consignment concept store in Bacolod, offering a platform for over 50 local sellers to earn passively. This paved the way of multiple opportunities, enabling our merchants to not only sustain their livelihoods but also cultivate substantial growth for their brands. The four-month project concluded with over Php 2 million in gross sales remitted back to merchants, a testament to the store's ability to drive business for its partners.
As the chapter concluded in January 2023, a temporary farewell ensued, leaving the community eagerly anticipating our return.
Fast forward to January 2024, Shop Samahan reopens its doors with a permanent residency. This time, it's a nationwide invitation for brands to consign and flourish on our platform, fostering an environment where businesses thrive.
With a strengthened commitment to community and collaboration, Shop Samahan sets the stage for our partnered merchants—a space where local brands find a home and flourish.
